Troubleshooting and safe recovery

Use the account, terminal and EA identities to isolate the problem before repeating an action.

How it works

Connection or login: Check the intended account/server and control-panel terminal status. A stopped terminal must be started there; invalid credentials must be corrected there. A deployment or expired browser session may require reopening Trade from the control panel.

Trade rejected: Read the broker error, then check account permissions, market hours, exact symbol, volume step, available margin and stop distances. Do not infer failure solely from a disconnected browser; inspect Positions and history before resubmitting.

EA running without trades: Check the EA-specific Experts and Journal logs for initialization errors, disabled trading, input conditions, market hours and symbol mismatch. A strategy may legitimately wait without trading.

Stale chart: Check quotes and the last candle time separately. A loaded chart can contain historical data while its live stream is unavailable. Refresh or reconnect and report the account platform, symbol, timeframe and observed time.

When requesting help: Provide the platform, feature, timestamp, error text and relevant ticket or EA ID. Do not publish passwords, API keys or one-time attach links. Screenshots should omit private account information unrelated to the issue.
