Market Watch and symbols

Search available instruments, choose the chart symbol and inspect bid/ask quotes.

How it works

Search and category: Search narrows symbols already displayed in the watch list. The category selector narrows them by broker category. Clear the search and select All when an instrument appears missing.

Select an instrument: Select a symbol row to update the chart, Information panel and trading ticket. Broker suffixes are part of the symbol name: EURUSD, EURUSD.a and EURUSD.sc are not interchangeable.

Bid and ask: Bid is the quoted selling price and Ask is the quoted buying price. Displayed quotes can change while you review an order. A missing or stale quote should be investigated before submission.

Quote columns: The columns icon by Symbol opens checkboxes for Spread, Time and Change %. Spread is shown in symbol points. Time helps identify quote freshness. These display choices do not change an order.

Add or remove symbols: Add Symbol opens the broker instrument search. Removing a symbol removes it from the watch list only; open positions and pending orders for that symbol remain at the broker.
