Expert Advisors and instance states

The table lists attached instances, including stopped ones. Check Status for each EA.

How it works

Listed instances and states: The table lists attached EAs, including stopped instances. Read the Status column to distinguish Running from Stopped. Unlike MT5, this MT4 tab currently has no running-count badge. An empty list after a successful refresh differs from a loading or error state.

EA identity: The table shows EA name, symbol, period, state and start time. Multiple instances can share a file name. Use the EA ID in its logs and the configured account to distinguish instances.

CPU and memory: CPU percentage and memory describe the isolated EA process. They are resource measurements, not trading performance. Resource limits and billing apply separately from the account terminal.

Refresh and auto-refresh: Refresh requests the current list. Auto-refresh periodically updates the panel. Turning it off only stops refreshing this view; it does not stop the EA or its billing.

Trade evidence: A Running process does not prove successful EA initialization or a trade. Inspect its own Experts and Journal logs, then match the reported broker ticket to Positions or Closed positions.
