Stop loss and take profit
SL and TP are price levels, not cash amounts or point distances.
How it works
Open protection fields: Select SL / TP on the ticket to show optional price fields. Leaving a level unset means that protection is absent. Enter prices using the selected instrument precision.
Direction and distance: For a usual buy position, SL is below and TP above the relevant current price; for a sell, the direction is reversed. The broker validates trigger prices, stop distance and freeze-level restrictions.
Existing positions: The current activity table displays SL and TP but has no position editor. Changing the new-order ticket does not update an existing position. Use another supported broker interface to modify protection on an open position.
Execution: A stop is a broker instruction and can execute away from its trigger price during gaps or fast markets. Verify the accepted levels in the position table. A rejected modification leaves the earlier broker state in effect.
