Stop and remove an EA

Stopping automation and removing a stopped instance are different actions.

How it works

Stop EA: Stop EA stops the isolated EA terminal. Wait for its state to become stopped. Open broker positions and pending orders remain; inspect and manage them separately in the activity panel.

Remove EA: Remove EA is available for stopped or resource-limit-terminated instances. The confirmation removes that instance from the control panel and Web Trader. Billing history, uploaded files and broker trades are retained.

Restart and reattach: Use the supported control-panel Start EA action for a stopped retained instance, or attach a new instance with reviewed settings. Removing an instance does not delete the uploaded EA from your library.

Separate charges: Stopping ends the running instance; already incurred charges remain in billing history. Turning off auto-refresh, signing out or closing the browser does not stop a hosted EA.
