Chart, timeframe and information
Use the chart to inspect price history; use Information for broker-specific instrument properties.
How it works
Trading Chart and Information: Trading Chart displays candles and analysis tools. Information displays the selected symbol specifications. Changing between these panels does not submit an order or change an EA timeframe.
Timeframe buttons: M1, M5 and M15 group prices into one-, five- and fifteen-minute candles. H1 and H4 use hourly and four-hour candles; D1 uses daily candles. The selected button changes this chart only.
Navigate the chart: Drag the chart to inspect an earlier period and use the chart zoom controls or pointer gestures to change the visible range. Return to recent candles before interpreting the current market.
Historical versus live data: Loaded candles are historical data. Their presence alone does not prove that the live candle stream is connected. Compare quote timestamps and the most recent candle; refresh or reconnect if the display stops updating.
Symbol properties: Information includes the broker-provided precision, contract size, trade and volume restrictions, swaps and sessions where available. Values vary by instrument and broker. An unavailable field is not necessarily zero.
