Connection states and diagnostics

The terminal state explains whether the account is connected, starting, stopped, suspended or recovering. The expanded row gives the reason and recorded state changes.

How it works

Connected means the terminal has synchronized with the broker. Queued, Starting, Authorizing and Syncing show startup progress. Wrong Password means broker authorization failed; correct the credentials.

Restarting means the service is recovering a terminal after its host failed; the legend states that it is not charged during this recovery. Not Responding means the meter is still running while the service attempts recovery, or you can press Stop.

Suspended indicates insufficient service balance. Add credit and check the terminal state again. Stopped by you records an explicit stop. A terminal that needs its password must be started once with the password.

State Changes Logs show lifecycle transitions. Terminal Journal shows MetaTrader system and connection events. Read the specific error and timestamps when diagnosing an unsuccessful connection.
