EA logs and terminal journal
Use Experts Log for EA execution and print messages, and Terminal Journal for MetaTrader system and connection events.
How it works
Refresh obtains the current log. Auto-refresh periodically requests updates while the log window is open. Filtering changes the displayed messages; it does not change the EA.
Copy copies log text for your own analysis. Clear in a live journal clears the visible buffer; it does not change broker history.
If an EA terminal is restarting, logs become available after it runs again. A stopped EA has no live log because its isolated terminal was removed when it stopped. The window labels this state explicitly.
Controls and settings
Copy all logs to clipboard
Copies the displayed value to your clipboard. Check the destination before pasting credentials or account identifiers.
Refresh logs now
Requests the latest data for this section. It does not start, stop or replay a trade.
Close
Closes this window and returns to the panel. It does not stop the selected service.

Terminal Journal
The terminal state explains whether the account is connected, starting, stopped, suspended or recovering. The expanded row gives the reason and recorded state changes.
Connected means the terminal has synchronized with the broker. Queued, Starting, Authorizing and Syncing show startup progress. Wrong Password means broker authorization failed; correct the credentials.

Filters the records shown in this section. Clear the search to show records that were hidden by the filter.
Search
Filters the records shown in this section. Clear the search to show records that were hidden by the filter.
Auto-refresh
Turns periodic log updates on or off while this window is open. It does not enable or disable the EA.
Close
Closes this window and returns to the panel. It does not stop the selected service.
